I just went on a Chanel bender and bought way too much makeup I don't need. Can't wait for my little bundle of joy to reach me at home. Will take photos and swatches when it's all home safely.

I just had a manicure and pedicure using my new Chanel Peridot nail polish. I'm generally a slave to Essie's Ballet Slippers, Mademoiselle and Bordeaux but this colour was too special to pass up. Chanel have managed to capture the colour of scarab beetles which results in a gold/green colour that changes with the light. A perfect fall colour that has tempted me to pick up Quartz on my next peruse around Harrods.

Australia's finest, Christine Centenera wearing Givenchy's beautiful lace number the way it was made to be worn; lots of kohl, attitude and painful looking heels.
Jason Wu's S/S 12 collection was a dream. The stunning dresses were something Oscar de la Renta would be proud of and the Skittle shades are mouthwateringly beautiful.
Totally crushing on Antonio Berardi's beautiful navy mini dress. Tailoring mixed with something that wouldn't look out of place on an ice rink is a sure winner this winter. Can't wait to get my hands on this!

Apart from Suite Francais, this is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. I've always been a sucker for anything Southern and this doesn't disappoint. A perfect book to read cuddled up on a sofa with a big blanket on a sleepy Sunday.

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love black and white movies. After watching The Shanghai Gesture I became enamoured with Gene Tierney. She is effortlessly beautiful and has such grace and poise which is sadly lost nowadays. Definitely my makeup inspiration for autumn.
I'm home sick at the moment and the only thing that is comforting me (apart from the massive box of macaroons my best friend brought over) is my favourite Dyptique Baies candle in black. It's so comforting and warm and makes sure that instead of getting cabin fever I'm enjoying my bed rest.

Trying to break into an apartment wearing a highly recognisable Peter Pilotto printed silk dress is never a good idea. Peter Pilotto came out with this dress in many different patterns but the sea blues in the dress were my favourite by far, it reminds me of a watery lagoon filled with mermaids. Just saying.
