The Isabel Marant SS/2013 collection has to be one of my favourites yet. My wish list for this collection is literally out of control and I'm considering putting up a countdown calendar on my wall.

I find it strangely puzzling how I am now lusting after a bag that I would have given my mother grief about toting a few years ago. It's funny how things change and ever so slightly shocking when you realise that your mother always was right.

Yes, I'll admit that not having a pair of Isabel Marant's latest Blackson or Milwakee boots caused my palms to twitch. However after returning from a weekend in Paris and seeing woman after woman in said boots I decided that it was time to search for another pair that wouldn't meet their identical twins every 50 yards.
I am now introducing you to these beauties by Rupert Sanderson. They are simple leather wedged ankle boots which just enough Annie Get Your Gun to make it on the top of my list.

I'm having a ladylike moment, I can't get enough of sensible heels, longer dresses and tea time. Perhaps at 25 it's a right of passage but the current Jil Sander collection is the final nail in the coffin. My bejewelled Balmain jackets, Louboutin platforms and bandage dresses are being shunned and in their place there is nothing more I'd like than this beautiful cocoon coat. Even thrown over jeans and flats whilst walking the dogs you will get adoring looks (as opposed to the stay-away-from-my-husband looks when wearing something a little too short and a little too tight).
The biggest dilemma you will face is deciding which one will be joining you for scones and afternoon tea at Claridges.
