I used to buy shoes week in and week out. Sometimes I forget how lovely it is to actually go into a store, pick up a pair of shoes and put together mental outfits. 

I couldn't say no, I really couldn't and I figured that although my feet would be twitching in pain, my overdraft would cause my rather forceful banker to send me stern emails I simply couldn't picture any of my future ensembles without them.
