Blue eyeshadow often conjures up images on Camilla Parker Bowles in the 80s with a gang of golden labradors and an unsuccessful attempt at mastering the Farrah Fawcett flick.
Chanel's latest summer makeup offers a refreshing twist on blue eye makeup. Inspired by butterflies these vibrant rich blues are unacceptable for a countryside polo tournament circa 1985 and is better suited to leather Saint Laurent mini dress with barely there sandals.
They have also launched three new nail polishes. Whilst the coral colour (not pictured) can be easily skipped the beautiful duo-chrome teal green and royal blue are a must have for happy tanned tootsies come summertime.
