I've been sitting in bed all day (aka my personal workspace) and rather than figuring out how to add a bit more pizazz to my dissertation I'm thinking it's about time I got some thick rimmed 1950's senator tortoiseshell glasses. My Buddy Holly frames are getting vaguely predictable.

Emilio de la Morena has been one of my favourite designers for a few years. It's most probably due to the fact that his clothing resembles the ballet and ice skating costumes I used to wear day in and day out when I was little even when I wasn't pirouetting through dance class. I suppose even in our older years our childhood fantasies and pleasures have a way of finding us.

It was hard to miss Leila on my first day at Central St Martin's and what a talent she is. Fabulous jewellery from small skull bracelets to golf ball sized cocktail rings that wouldn't look out of place thrown on with a t-shirt and cut offs. Just the way jewellery should be worn.
Check her out at leivankash.com.
Even though Abbey Clancy's makeup belongs on the cover of FHM's High Street Honey's edition, there's no denying that her dress is perfection. Daytime demure with a pinch of sex-kitten which is helped by the ruffled bed head (aka a £50 trip to the hairdresser).

I've never been a huge fan of sneakers. During the day I generally stick with biker boots and simple flats. Other than gym shoes and Converse I am yet to meet a pair of sneakers I like. That was until I met these bad boys. This is what you'd get if Dennis Rodman went to Vegas, so glittery and offensive they would make Bowie's alter-ego Ziggy Stardust run for his leotards in delight. Paired with jeans, tshirts, no makeup (or bucket loads to give you that no-makeup-but-i'm-wearing-three-bottles-of-foundation-makeup-look)and bed hair these are sure to get your feet happy.

I will forever not regret buying these fabulous Prada shoes. This is what you'd get if a pair of jelly shoes had a baby with a Venetian glass chandelier. Pure poetry. And for you fuddy-duddys out there, they come complete with a velcro strap - practicality and glitz.
